The Secret Place
While I've been blessed in my life to see quite a bit of this big beautiful world we call home, I've still got a lifetime of traveling...
SLOW LIVING ARTIST
“I’ve been a beauty photographer for over half my life. After 18 years of experience, one of the main things I learned, is that beauty is NOT only skin deep - but most of the world behaves as if it is.
I spent most of my career, focusing on boudoir and glamour, and many of the women I captured would love their experience and love their images but still something seemed off to me. One day, after hearing yet again, "I can't believe this is me!" it dawned on me that the major reason they kept coming back was because many of them did not truly believe they were beautiful... so in some ways, while I wanted to help them feel as gorgeous as they were, I knew there had to be a better way than the occasional surface level make-over. Somehow, we had to go inward...
Little did I know, God would have me go first. For at least as many years as I've been a photographer, trying to help others see their own beauty, I'd viewed myself as just not good enough… until one day, God began to speak into me all the reasons He saw me as not just beautiful, but precious. Important to Him and His will.
He showed me that I was Created- that I was His masterpiece. That I was His…. period.
In a world where I've often felt very different from others, as if I should’ve been born in another era, He even showed me why I was Created, when I was Created.
This land is covered by a great many forces that daily try to convince us to compete with one another, keep up with the latest standards in fashion and even keep up to keep our jobs... but what if none of it were as important as we believe? What if we could just slow down... stop even? What if we had the power to take back our minds, live holistically healthy and truly, deeply happy... One with the universe and without the stress of the anxiety inducing, survivalist mindset we see taking over the earth? ….What if we could tap into the beauty that exists all around us... the beauty we long for without realizing it exists within us, due the blurred vision of a life zipping by without purpose?”
An ordained Christian minister, BriJoRae' Pusch-Zuniga takes an artistic and holistic approach to the spiritual gift of healing. After receiving immense mental, physical and spiritual healing herself and gaining the heart to share what had been given to her, Bri began what she believes will be a life-long journey of studying holistic health as a whole.
Certified to instruct in the realms of mindfulness meditation and reiki healing, Bri utilizes her background in photography, to create nature inspired Guided meditations that help one attune the senses and heal the overall being. Bri believes mindfully meditating in nature allows the body and mind to connect with the healing atmosphere present in natures pure energetic field.
"Meditation itself has been clinically proven to ease stress, anxiety and even depression. Considering the various physical ailments caused by stress, the release of tension can have major healing effects on the body as well! Meditating in nature, is one of the simplest ways to return to who we are and receive again, our own purity, beauty and innate ability to heal. This IS our nature. It's time we re-learn the practice of exercising our God-given gifts to love and thus heal ourselves."
Nature does not hurry, and yet everything is accomplished.

INTUITIVE SELF CARE
YOGA - one of many alternative forms of physical activity and originally a Hindu discipline, Yogic philosophy is now utilized as a widely practiced approach to relaxation and healing. In addition to the physical postures or asanas involved in integrating the mind and body, yoga can include breath control and meditation. As a holistic remedy, practicing yoga with guided meditation can cultivate the ability to hear, feel and sense the body's pains and/or needs, formulating a re-discovery of the innate ability to self-heal.
EARTHING - sometimes referred to as Grounding, earthing is the practice of connecting the physical body to the electromagnetic radius of the earth. Scientifically proven physical benefits can include better sleep and reduced pain and inflammation. Earthing can be as simple as walking barefoot outside. With the added element of meditation or mindful awareness of nature, earthing can also be one of the greatest methods for mental and emotional healing as well.
FOOD AS MEDICINE - nutrition is defined as the process of providing or obtaining the food necessary for health and growth. When acknowledging food and water as our primary sources for a healthily growing existence, we must recognize our need to consume nutrients that fuel our energy, toughen our immunity and reduce the risk for some diseases.
INTUITIVE EATING - the practice of listening to and trusting the body's cues to gauge whether we are hungry or full. This practice can help us build a more positive relationship with food, and our bodies and reconnect with our ability to decipher what types of vitamins and/or nutrients we may need.
Additionally, intuitive eating can be applied to atmospheric consciousness. Anything we consume through our sensory body has the ability to overwhelm our minds and souls. Becoming more conscious of the types of energy we consume through our eye and ear gates can help minimize mental and emotional over-stimulation.

SOUL VS SPIRIT
BREATH WORK - is the practice in which the conscious control of breathing is used to calm the emotional and physical body.
JOURNALING - is the act of keeping a record of your personal thoughts, feelings, insights, and the inner workings of the mind and emotional body. Similar to meditation, journaling has the ability to help us open up to our thoughts, uncovering any layers of energetic illness we may not be cognizant of without an expressive outlet.
EFT TAPPING - Emotional Freedom Techniques is a form of counseling intervention that stimulates acupressure points by pressuring, tapping, or rubbing these points while focusing on situations that represent personal fear or trauma. The process conceptualized by Gary Craig stems from the ancient Chinese practice of acupuncture, which teaches that the body's energy travels along a specific pathway known as the meridian. As emotional trauma can block or clog the meridian, EFT tapping has been clinically proven to assist in clearing these blockages and relieving emotional and physical ailments.
CLEANSING THE SOUL
SOUND HEALING - is an ancient healing modality, originating in Tibet, that utilizes the deep vibrations and soothing sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls to bring relief from many different physical ailments and stress-related conditions. As He opens our eyes, we can even see with Greater detail, purposeful beauty in lives of those around us, human and non-human alike. As we have come farther out of the reality we once knew and deeper into Heaven on Earth - the Eden of His Presence - it has become more and more of a blessing to us, to have the ability to share the Realities of Heaven with anyone who desires to open up and let Him be their guide! Native Nazarite is an upcoming podcast where we will share the many stepping stones, the Father lays out before us.
