Mindful Living Journeys

Good morning beloved!

This morning, I’ve been sitting and mindfully considering the beauty found in experiencing the living essence of our world by tapping into our senses… by letting the distraction fade from mind and focusing on the voices of the birds outside our windows, the crashing of ocean waves against sandy shores… and the distinct difference of rushing river waters and gentle lake shores… because even placid waters have subtle movements and when we silence ourselves and intently focus, we hear the waves of fishes…

…the winds in the rustling leaves of softly swaying trees... nature is dancing all around us…

…even in the desert sands, the winds move visibly about the earth... you can lift the sand into your hands, letting it fall between your fingers as it rejoins the same ground your feet connect with every moment of every day…

…and all these things, these living, breathing experiences… are the heartbeat of the earth… as you listen more deeply- especially when you do so with your eyes closed, this beat causes you to see in more vivid color- when you allow your eyes to open.

When you allow your spirit to feel… Alive. One with the earth and the world around you. Present.

Presence.

If you‘re a fruit and vegetable eater, you can even close your eyes and taste the vibrancy of living greens and the subtle refreshing zeal of watermelon and strawberries… hmm… taste…a whole other world of life- the things we put INTO our bodies have the power to fill us with that same zeal and consequential peace they present the rest of our senses with… and thus, they gift us prosperity that flows directly into our being… creating life… and livelihood.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Philippians 4:8

God bless your journey!
